Raisin Oatmeal Cookies
- 1 C margarine
- 1 C pure maple syrup
- 4 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 C all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 C rolled oats
- 1/2 C raisins
- 1/2 C chopped pecans
- 1/2 C chopped roasted macadamia nuts
In a medium-size mixing bowl, cream together the margarine, syrup, and
vanilla. Mix together the flour and baking powder, then add to the
margarine mixture with the oats and mix well. Refrigerate the dough
for 2 hours. Roll into balls, then press out onto a greased cookie
sheet. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375° for 25 minutes or until
light brown and crusty.
