None stands to Shieldbreaker;

Also known as the Sword of Force, for reasons obvious to anyone who might witness it in armed combat. The finest weapons of man, god or Old World technology -- even magical attacks -- are utterly destroyed by Shieldbreaker's impenetrable sphere of slashing, charmed metal. Even the Twelve Swords themselves will be destroyed in direct battle with the Sword of Force. The song speaks rightly; NONE stands to Shieldbreaker!

And therein lies the catch. None, as in no weapon, stands up to Shieldbreaker. No weapon manages better than that, in fact; the Sword of Force will pass directly through an unarmed combatant as though he were made of air. Worse still for the wielder, once combat has begun, Shieldbreaker insists that it be finished. The Sword will not allow you to disengage while you are being attacked.
