Last night as I lay in bed
Thinking of what could have been
If you had been the first I'd seen
We could have had so much fun
Splashing around and lying in the sun
Having picnics in the park
Making love in the dark
Romantic nights came to mind
Capturing a love that's so hard to find
Then I had an incredible dream
Two people strolling by a stream
Holding hands to eternity
Their smiles spoke of sincerity
Thus did my dream end
A message of love it did send
Now that my blindness has been cleared
There is still something that I fear
I'm telling you I love you, and that's a fact
But can you -- will you, love me back?
