    Software Design Engineer.

    ·         Excel XP: solely responsible for implementing features, including XML Stylesheets, Copy Paste Web Queries (patent-pending), NT Security UI, and Insert Function Dialog improvements.  Shipped May 2001.

    ·         Solely invented, partially designed, and solely implemented the Access XP Add-In for Exporting to XML Spreadsheet.  Shipped Aug 2001 on Office Downloads website (http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/msxmlss.aspx).

    ·         Solely responsible for design and implementation of future Excel.Net features, including Object Model improvements, and new File Load/Save improvements.

     

     

     

    Spring 1998

    Computer Graphics Research: “Panoramic Image Mosaics”.

    ·         Analyzed the 1997 paper by Microsoft Research published in the Computer Graphics Proceedings for SIGGRAPH’97.

    ·         Solely implemented an image mosaic generator, analyzed the numerical challenges, including the difficulty in reaching a converging solution, and published a short report on my website (http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~yaniv/work/98a/).

    ·         Implemented a Web View module for Internet Explorer 4.0: “nifty new True Web Integration feature” (PC World).
