Anne of Green Gables is by far my favorite story. Along with Ellie Arroway (Carl Sagan; Contact), Anne is a fictional character with whom I can very much identify. Her spirit and her universe seem much too familiar. Here I've put together a web page with my favorite Anne Of Green Gables-related links. The Story

Anne of Green Gables was written by the Canadian author Lucy Maude Montgomery in 1908. I'm able to include the full text here thanks to Project Gutenberg and TeacherSoft.



The Movie

I was actually introduced to Anne's universe when I saw the Disney Wonderworks production. It was produced by Sullivan Entertainment, and comes as a set of four videotapes (8 hours). Below is a list of locations and other links relevant to the production.
